BISP Chairperson Initiates Plantation Drive and Inaugurates Satellite Van in Hub

Hub: Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, along with Advisor to the Chief Minister on Industries, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, visited District Hub where they launched several developmental initiatives, including a plantation drive and the inauguration of a new satellite van for the BISP.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the delegation was received by a host of local officials and dignitaries including ADC Ali Raza Khosa, Deputy Commissioner Ruhana Gul Kakar, and other community leaders. The visit was marked by a warm reception and a ceremony where Senator Khalid planted saplings at the Leda premises, signaling the start of a green initiative in the district.

The event also saw the formal inauguration of a satellite van designated for the BISP in Hub, enhancing the program’s reach and efficiency in the area. This move is part of broader efforts to improve social welfare services under the BISP, with a focus on increasing accessibility for the residents of Hub.
