BISP Distributes Over Rs 80 Billion to 7.6 Million Beneficiaries Nationwide

Islamabad: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has successfully distributed over eighty billion rupees to approximately 7.6 million beneficiaries across Pakistan as part of the Benazir Kafaalat quarterly payments for April to June.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the disbursement process continues nationwide, with beneficiaries able to collect their payments from designated centers upon receiving confirmation messages from 8171. In case of any issues, beneficiaries are encouraged to contact their nearest BISP Tehsil offices or utilize the program’s toll-free helpline at 080026477.

The Ministry also cautioned beneficiaries to trust messages only from the official BISP number, 8171, warning against fraudulent communications from other sources. The BISP, which currently supports 9.3 million families, remains a crucial component of the government’s efforts to alleviate economic hardship among Pakistan’s most vulnerable populations.
