Karachi, In response to the challenges posed by the current business environment in Pakistan and to accelerate planned growth, Buxly Paints Limited has proposed a significant restructuring of its management structure. The Board of Directors has passed resolutions to appoint new leadership roles within the company.

The restructuring, designed to align Buxly Paints’ strategic direction and enhance its operational effectiveness, includes the following key changes:

1. Mr. Bashir Ahmed – CEO: Mr. Bashir Ahmed, who currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, has been nominated as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Buxly Paints Limited. This strategic move aims to leverage his extensive experience and expertise for the benefit of the company.

2. Mr. Shamshad Ali – Chairman: Mr. Shamshad Ali, a current Director of Buxly, has been nominated as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors, replacing Mr. Bashir Ahmed in this role.

3. Mr. Adnan Iqbal – Executive Director: Mr. Adnan Iqbal, the current CEO of the company, will take on the role of Executive Director. This transition will provide him with increased opportunities to contribute strategically to the company’s growth and operational success. Mr. Adnan Iqbal will also serve as a Director on the Board of Directors, replacing Mr. Bashir Ahmed.

The following resolutions have been approved by the Board of Directors to facilitate these changes:

Resignation of Mr. Bashir Ahmed: The Board approved Mr. Bashir Ahmed’s resignation as a Director of the Board of Directors, effective August 01, 2023.

Resignation of Mr. Adnan Iqbal: Mr. Adnan Iqbal’s resignation as CEO of Buxly Paints Limited was approved, also effective from August 01, 2023.

Appointment of Mr. Bashir Ahmed as CEO: The appointment of Mr. Bashir Ahmed as Chief Executive Officer, effective from August 01, 2023, for the remaining period of the term, was approved.

Appointment of Mr. Adnan Iqbal as Executive Director: The appointment of Mr. Adnan Iqbal as Executive Director and as a Director on the Board of Directors, replacing Mr. Bashir Ahmed, was approved, effective from August 01, 2023, for the remaining period of the term.

Appointment of Mr. Shamshad Ali as Chairman: Mr. Shamshad Ali’s appointment as Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective from August 01, 2023, for the remaining period of the term, was approved.

The Board also granted the Chairman the authority to determine the remuneration of the CEO and Executive Director.
