CDWP Greenlights Ten Development Projects Valued at Rs115 Billion

Islamabad, The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has endorsed ten new development projects with a combined value exceeding 115 billion rupees. This decision was reached during a meeting in Islamabad, chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the approved projects span a diverse array of sectors including Agriculture and Food, Energy, Governance, Health, Higher Education, Physical Planning and Housing, Science and Technology, Transport and Communication, Water Resources, and Industries and Commerce. This broad spectrum of initiatives reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and services across multiple dimensions of the national economy.

The approval of these projects is expected to stimulate economic growth, improve public services, and enhance the quality of life for citizens across various regions of the country. The initiatives are part of a broader strategy to address critical development needs and drive sustainable progress.
