Century Paper & Board Mills Limited to Elect New Directors at EOGM

Karachi, Century Paper & Board Mills Limited has scheduled an Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) on July 12, 2024, at Karachi and via electronic means, to elect seven directors for a term of three years commencing from July 17, 2024. The election follows the terms outlined in Section 159(1) of the Companies Act, 2017.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the directors eligible for re-election include Mr. Iqbal Ali Lakhani, Mr. Amin Mohammed Lakhani, Mr. Babar Ali Lakhani, Ms. Anushka Lakhani, Mr. Aftab Ahmad, Mr. Ali Aamir, and Mr. Asif Qadir. Share transfer books will remain closed from July 03, 2024, to July 12, 2024. Members intending to participate in the EOGM via electronic means must register with the Company Secretary’s office by July 10, 2024.

The meeting also provides an e-voting option and postal ballot for voting, reflecting an adherence to modern governance practices. Shareholders are encouraged to convert their physical shares into book-entry form and update their contact details and email addresses to receive all communications and dividends efficiently.
