Chaman, In a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Captain Retired Raja Athar Abbas, Chaman administration has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of the public. The meeting, which included district administration and officers from various law enforcement agencies, emphasized the necessity of rigorous security measures across the district.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the session underscored ongoing security operations involving patrolling, snap-checks, and comprehensive searches in public areas. These measures aim to swiftly deter criminal activities and minimize disruptions to the daily lives of residents.
Deputy Commissioner Abbas highlighted the administration’s primary responsibilities as the restoration of law and order and the protection of life and property. He explained that the intensified snap-checking and surveillance by security forces are crucial strategies to combat and neutralize miscreants and criminal elements, especially given the current security concerns. Enhanced monitoring of suspicious activities and transportation, including the snap-checking of vehicles and motorcycles, has significantly contributed to reducing incidents of terrorism and vandalism.
Addressing the community, the Deputy Commissioner called for public cooperation with law enforcement to help transform the area into a peaceful region. She urged residents to support the ongoing security measures, which are designed to safeguard their well-being, and to actively contribute to the community’s safety and stability.
