Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, Federal Minister for Science and Technology inaugurated 15 days international training workshop on wildlife at Pakistan Museum of Natural History, Islamabad

Islamabad, July 06, 2019 (PPI-OT): Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, Federal Minister for the Science and Technology, inaugurated 15 days International Training Workshop at Pakistan Museum of Natural History, Islamabad on 3rd July, 2019. Participants from various wildlife conservative societies, researchers, scholars, students from universities media persons along with foreign resource persons participated in this event.

In his remarks, the federal minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain highlighted the significance of the natural history museums in any country. He said that when we go to the other country, first we visit the natural history museum of that country. He said museum has large number of specimens of rocks, plants, fossils, minerals and also preserved the 700 years old elephant tusk.

He said the government will upgrade the Pakistan Museum of Natural History, Islamabad. He said that societies, who did not love animals and ignored them in the past, become the victim of decline. At the end of the inaugural session, Dr. Muhammad Rafique, Director General, PMNH presented the souvenir to the honourable minister.
