FM Mohammad Ishaq Dar Leads Pakistani Delegation at OIC Islamic Summit

Banjul, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar is representing Pakistan at the 15th OIC Islamic Summit in Banjul, The Gambia,

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting,The summit, which commenced in Banjul, will see Foreign Minister Dar leading the Pakistani delegation. Pakistan aims to bring attention to several key issues during the summit, including the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the right to self-determination of Kashmiri people, the importance of solidarity and unity among the Muslim Ummah, the escalating trend of Islamophobia, as well as pressing global challenges such as climate change and terrorism.

Upon his arrival at the summit venue, Foreign Minister Dar was warmly welcomed by President of The Gambia, Adama Barrow.
