Cherat Cement Shows Active Trading in Pakistan Stock Exchange

Karachi, Cherat Cement Company Limited experienced a dynamic trading day on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) on January 10, 2024, with its shares and futures attracting investor attention.

Cherat Cement Company Limited (CHCC), a notable entity in the cement industry, opened its trading at 160.25 and closed higher at 163.9. The stock hit a low and high of 160.25 and 162.06, respectively. A total of 18,860 shares were traded during the day, with the stock closing at 161.9.

In the futures market, Cherat Cement’s February futures (CHCC-FEB) did not record an opening, closing, or low price. However, it reached a high of 167.15, with the closing price slightly lower at 167.1.

The January futures for Cherat Cement (CHCC-JAN) opened and closed at the same price of 165. These futures experienced a low of 162.5 and a high of 163.02. A total of 8,000 shares were traded, closing at a higher price of 163.5.

Furthermore, the March futures for Cherat Cement (CHCC-MAR) also showed no opening, closing, or low price. The high was noted at 171.2, and the futures closed marginally lower at 171.15.
