Chinese Firms Show Strong Interest in Pak-China Business Conference, Says Ambassador Hashmi

Islamabad, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, announced that a significant number of Chinese companies are set to participate in the upcoming Pak-China Business Conference, signaling robust interest in strengthening business ties between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Hashmi revealed that approximately 700 renowned Chinese companies have registered for the conference. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the inaugural session, which aims to enhance foreign investment and promote economic cooperation between Pakistan and China.

The conference will feature business-to-business meetings and discussions on key investment opportunities in Pakistan, including solar energy prospects and developments at the Gwadar Port. Ambassador Hashmi emphasized that these sessions are crucial for bolstering Pakistan’s economic ties with China and attracting foreign investment to vital sectors of Pakistan’s economy.
