Islamabad, February 22, 2023 (PPI-OT):The National Assembly Wednesday resumed its session at the Parliament House in Islamabad with Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf in the chair. Newly elected member of the National Assembly Nadeem Khan took oath of his office. Nadeem Khan won by-election from Hangu on the ticket of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf administered the oath. The Code of Civil Procedure (Amendment) Bill, 2023 was introduced in the House. Parliamentary Secretary on Federal Education and Professional Training Zeb Jaffar presented the bill. Besides, reports on “The Islamabad Capital Territory Forensic Science Agency, Bill, 2022 and “The Emigration (Amendment) Bill, 2023 were also presented in the House. The House will now meet on Friday at 11 a.m.
