Prime Minister Calls for Rapid Transition to E-office to Boost Government Efficiency

Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has directed the creation of a detailed action plan to accelerate the shift of government operations to the E-office platform. During a review meeting held in Islamabad, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of this transition to enhance system transparency and achieve significant cost savings.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting focused on the current implementation progress of the E-office system within various government offices and institutions. The Prime Minister was briefed on the ongoing reforms and the system’s benefits, highlighting the potential to save billions of rupees for the national treasury.

To ensure the effective development and implementation of the E-office system, the Prime Minister has also instructed officials to enlist the help of internationally-renowned experts. This move is part of a broader effort to modernize government operations and improve service delivery across the board.
