Collection of Hajj Dues from Intending Pilgrims Begins Tomorrow

Islamabad: Collection of Hajj dues from the intending pilgrims is commencing from tomorrow.

According to Radio Pakistan, Spokesperson Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Muhammad Umar Butt stated that individuals registered on a first come, first serve basis can deposit the first installment of their Hajj dues by Saturday next.

He mentioned that Hajj applications can be submitted through designated banks and an online portal. Fresh applicants may apply from the 11th to the 16th of this month if seats remain available. The receipt of Hajj dues will immediately be stopped once all the seats are filled.

The Hajj Package for 2026 will range between 11,50,000 rupees and 12,50,000 rupees, with the sacrificial offering, Dam-e-Shukr, included in the dues. Muhammad Umar Butt also noted that the second installment will be collected from November this year. Restrictions on repeat Hajj and the upper age limit have been lifted; however, children born after March 1, 2014, are not eligible to apply.
