Islamabad, September 16, 2012 (PPI-OT): In a response to a question regarding comments made by Dr A Q Khan in a leading newspaper regarding transfer of nuclear technology, the Spokesman said that the matter had been thoroughly investigated in the year 2003-4. It had been clearly established that the proliferation activity was an individual act, and did not carry authorization of any Pakistani Government, at any stage.
The Spokesman further said that the so called Dr A Q Khan affair was a closed chapter. Pakistan has taken all necessary measures in support of nuclear nonproliferation and extended full cooperation to the international community
