Pak Army has employed 1200 troops to rescue flood affectees in Kandkot

Rawalpindi, September 16, 2012 (PPI-OT): Relief and Rescue operations contiued by Pakistan Army troops in flood affected areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

Pakistan Army has employed 1200 troops to rescue the flood affectees in Kandkot, Naseerabad/Jacobabad and Dera Murad Jamali. Army troops have rescued over 4305 flood affectees to safer places in flood affected areas of Sindh and Balochistan. Army Aviation has employed 6 Helicopters in rescue and relief activities.

Army troops rescued 2500 people from the flood affected areas of district Jacobabad, Tehsil Thul and surrounding areas of Baho Khoso. With the help of civil adminstration of District Jacobabad Army has established a Tent village, in which cooked food, mineral water and medicines have been provided to the flood affected people.

Pakistan Army has distributed 22 ton rations and 500 packs of dry ration at Dera Murad Jamali and Loralai. Army has established a mobile field hospital at Dera Murad Jamali and treated 1200 patients.
