CTD Punjab arrests close associate of Al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden

The Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested a close associate of Al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore, DIG CTD Usman Akram Gondal announced that Amin al-Haq, a key Al-Qaeda operative, was taken into custody from Sarai Alamgir yesterday.

DIG Usman Akram Gondal revealed that Amin-ul-Haq’s name is included in the list of terrorists wanted by both the US and the EU. He emphasized that the arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the fight against terrorism.
