D.G. Khan Cement Shares Witness Varied Trading on PSE

Karachi, In a day of mixed fortunes for D.G. Khan Cement at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE), the company’s shares experienced slight fluctuations across different futures contracts on Monday, 25 March 2024. The stock’s trading session saw variations in opening and closing prices alongside varying levels of activity in terms of shares traded for its March, April, and May futures, as well as its regular shares.

D.G. Khan Cement’s regular shares opened at PKR 64.49 and closed slightly higher at PKR 64.8, with the day’s trading confined between a low of PKR 63.43 and a high of PKR 63.58. A total of 412,266 shares were traded, with the closing price settling at PKR 64.23.

In futures trading, the April contract for D.G. Khan Cement opened at PKR 65.05 and saw a closing high of PKR 65.5, with trading activity peaking at a high of PKR 64.83 from a low of PKR 64.7. Approximately 207,000 shares changed hands, and the closing price was noted at PKR 65.2.

The March futures similarly opened at PKR 64.55 and ended the day at PKR 64.8. The trading range for the day was between PKR 63.6 and PKR 63.78, with a total of 285,000 shares traded, culminating in a closing price of PKR 64.51.

Notably, the May futures contract did not witness any trading activity, with both opening and closing prices recorded at zero, despite being listed with a stock high of PKR 66.65 and a closing price set at PKR 67.38.
