Karachi, In a recent announcement, Data Textiles Limited (DATM) has provided updated information regarding the suspension of trading and book closure dates. This schedule pertains to the issuance of shares for the surviving entities, LSE PropTech Limited (LPL), and LSE Ventures Limited (LVL), based on the SWAP ratio. The following transactions and dates have been outlined:
1. Entitlement Date for LVL and LPL Shares:
On May 15, 2023, shareholders of DATM and LSEFSL will be entitled to receive shares of LVL and LPL. As a result, the last trading date for DATM on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) is set for May 12, 2023.
2. Book Closure Period:
A book closure period has been scheduled, commencing from May 17, 2023, and concluding on May 19, 2023. During this period, the books of DATM will be closed to determine the entitlement of new shares for eligible shareholders.
3. Dissolution of DATM:
Following the completion of the aforementioned processes, DATM will be dissolved without winding up. The Lahore High Court, Lahore, will issue an order for the dissolution, effective May 26, 2023.
