Dawlance Gains Stronghold in Foreign Markets as a “Pakistani Brand”

Showcasing smart solutions embedded in its home appliances, Dawlance attracts attention from a number of foreign countries at the Big 5Exhibition held in Dubai

Karachi – 8th December, 2011: With a sustainable expansion strategy, Dawlance makes its presence felt at the Big 5 exhibition held in Dubai recently. At the exhibition, Dawlance stood out from the crowd as the only Pakistani home appliances company that managed to impress a fair number of foreign countries in the MENA region and other African countries.

Exploring export opportunities in the Middle East and African region, Dawlance showcased its refrigerators and freezers at the exhibition.

Dawlance established its Dubai office in 2009 to focus on export segment whereby it manufactures and distributes refrigerators, washing machines, chest freezers, air conditioners and microwave ovens in the region.

Talking on overseas expansion, Mr. Hasan Jamil – Head of Sales and Marketing, Dawlance said, “We at Dawlance are proud to be a Pakistani appliances company operating in Dubai. The Dubai office is our first international office for entire global distribution of Dawlance products. This is Dawlance’s first overseas participation and we are displaying our latest products in the event. We are also looking at other Gulf countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and different parts of Africa and East Africa for new business opportunities.”

According to a recent research, Dawlance is the 7th most favorite brand in Pakistan out of 3,500 brands in the country. The research further revealed that Dawlance is in every second household in Pakistan (out of those households which have appliances). The brand is considered to be the most ‘Reliable’ & ‘Innovative’ brand amongst all home appliance brands in Pakistan and wishes to continue the same legacy in international markets.
