Karachi: The 18th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was observed today with numerous events taking place across Pakistan to honor her legacy. Pakistan People’s Party organized special events nationwide, celebrating her contributions to democracy and human rights.

According to Radio Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, born in Karachi in June 1953, dedicated her life to the struggle for democracy, the rule of law, and the empowerment of women. Her electoral campaign in the general elections of 1988 led her to become the first female Prime Minister of Pakistan and the entire Muslim world.
