Islamabad: In a recent discussion with a private news channel, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif emphasized that terrorism should be approached as a national issue, transcending political affiliations. He stressed the importance of unified efforts across the political spectrum to effectively address national security challenges.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Asif highlighted the government’s priority to include both major and minor political parties in the upcoming All Parties Conference on national security. He also noted the participation of PTI as a significant and positive step toward collective action against terrorism.

The minister’s remarks come at a crucial time when national solidarity is imperative to combat security threats effectively.
