Karachi, February 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):Director General Audit Sindh Nazar Muhammad Ranjha met Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori at Governor House. In the meeting, transparent use of government funds, effective measures in this regard, role and importance of Directorate General Audit and other matters of mutual interest were discussed.
Governor Sindh said that transparent use of public funds enables efficient provision of basic facilities to the people, their timely audit helps public institutions in better utilization of funds. He further said that by correcting the deficiencies identified in the audit, the funds can be utilized in an efficient manner. The Director General Audit gave a detailed briefing to the Sindh Governor about the performance of his institution. He also presented the previous year’s report based on the audit of various provincial councils to the Governor of Sindh.
