Dubai and Emirates Forge Stronger Ties to Boost Global Business Appeal

Karachi, Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and Emirates airline have further strengthened their partnership with a new strategic agreement aimed at enhancing Dubai’s global presence as a prime destination for business, trade, and tourism. The deal, signed at the Arabian Travel Market event, seeks to amplify Dubai’s role in the international market in alignment with the city’s ambitious Economic Agenda, known as D33.

According to Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, the agreement was formalized in the presence of notable figures such as His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of DET. The signatories included His Excellency Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, and Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer.

His Excellency Issam Kazim commented on the strengthened collaboration, citing the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai. He highlighted the enhanced partnership’s role in achieving the D33 goals, which aim to double Dubai’s economy over the next decade and position it among the top three global cities for business and leisure.

Emirates’ Adnan Kazim also noted the strategic importance of the partnership in promoting Dubai across its extensive network, covering over 140 cities. He emphasized the commitment to expanding the network and enhancing Dubai’s connectivity, thus improving its status as a leading global economic hub.

The partnership between DET and Emirates reflects a coordinated effort to increase Dubai’s visibility and attractiveness as a premier destination for international businesses and tourists alike, leveraging the city’s strategic location, investor-friendly environment, and high standards of living.
