Ebad for following footsteps of Hazrat Imam Hussain (Radi Allah anho)

Karachi, November 25, 2012 (PPI-OT): Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan has said that the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), and his companions in the Karbala was an example of greatness for the whole humanity. Dr Ebad said the incident of Karbala is an enlightened chapter of the Islamic history, which teaches us lesson to maintain discipline in the society and remain steadfast against the evil forces.

The Sindh governor said the day of Ashura also encourages us to review our behaviors and deeds. He said we should pledge on the day of Ashura to follow the footsteps of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and make joint struggle against evils.

Meanwhile the Governor called upon the authorities and elected representatives to review the security of the mourning processions and majalis, time to time, so as to maintain peace on Ashura. He further said that foolproof security measures had been adopted for mourning processions and majalis of Muharram, besides monitoring by cameras.
