Elected representatives bound to declare their assets in ECP: Tarar

Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Interior Attaullah Tarar says court’s verdict in Toshakhana case has proved that the PTI Chairman remained involved in corrupt practices.

Addressing media in Islamabad on Saturday, he said after the announcement of this verdict PTI Chairman is no more an honest person.

The Special Assistant said this verdict should have been announced long ago but the PTI Chief used delaying tactics.

Attaullah Tarar said as per constitutional provisions, all public representatives are bound to declare their assets in Election Commission. Contrary to this, anything which is kept covert from Election Commission becomes a misdeclaration and this conduct of a public representative confirms his corrupt practice.
