Election Commission Probes Alleged Misconduct in PP-149 Bye-Election

Islamabad, The Election Commission has taken strict notice of reports that polling agents in the Punjab Assembly Constituency PP-149 Lahore were asked to sign blank Form 45 by the presiding officer. The commission has requested an immediate report from the Provincial Election Commissioner of Punjab to investigate the matter and determine the appropriate legal action.

According to Election Commission of Pakistan, this development followed allegations of misconduct in the by-election. The signing of blank Form 45 undermines the transparency and integrity of the electoral process, prompting the commission to act swiftly to address the issue.
