Pakistan Sends 8th Tranche of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Islamabad, Pakistan has dispatched its eighth tranche of humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza, comprising 400 tons of essential supplies, including winterized tents, tarpaulins, blankets, medicines, and food. Minister for Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar announced the aid shipment on his X account, emphasizing Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to supporting the urgent needs of Palestinians in Gaza.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the shipment will be received by Pakistan’s Ambassador at Port Said, Egypt, and then handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent for onward delivery to Gaza. This step is part of Pakistan’s effort to provide relief to the Palestinian population facing dire conditions.

In Karachi, a handover ceremony took place at the port where Palestinian Ambassador Ahmad Rabaie received the shipment. The event was attended by Additional Foreign Secretary Ambassador Ahmed Amjad Ali, representatives from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), and various relief organizations. The coordinated efforts reflect Pakistan’s commitment to offering humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza during challenging times.
