Emirs of Kuwait and Qatar Accept Invitations to Visit Pakistan

Islamabad, The Emirs of Kuwait and Qatar have accepted invitations from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to visit Pakistan, signaling strengthened diplomatic and economic ties. The invitations were confirmed during separate meetings in Islamabad with the ambassadors of the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nassar Abdulrahman Jasser Almutairi, delivered a letter from the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressing his readiness to visit on mutually agreed dates.

This follows a recent sideline meeting between Prime Minister Sharif and the Emir at the World Economic Forum in Riyadh. Additionally, Qatar’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, conveyed a similar acceptance from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing relations with both Kuwait and Qatar, citing upcoming diplomatic engagements, including the Pakistan-Kuwait Joint Ministerial Commission meeting in Kuwait.
