Engro Corporation Successfully Completes Buyback of 39.5 Million Shares, Equivalent to 6.86% of Its Capital

Karachi, Engro Corporation Limited has successfully concluded the purchase period for the buyback of shares, as approved by its members through a special resolution on January 26, 2023. During the purchase period, the company acquired a total of 39,536,762 (thirty-nine million, five hundred and thirty-six thousand, seven hundred sixty-two) ordinary shares, amounting to approximately 6.86% of its issued and paid-up capital. These purchased shares will be canceled following applicable laws and the members’ approval. As of Tuesday, July 25, 2023, the purchase period has been officially closed and completed.
