Islamabad, May 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): Mr. Adil Abish Oglu Aliyev, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan called on Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf in Parliament House today. National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf has said “Azerbaijan is very close to our hearts and we want our brotherly relations to grow further particularly through our parliamentary friendship group.” Mr. Adil while extending gratitude, conveyed regards of the Speaker of Azerbaijan to Mr. Ashraf.
He also extended appreciation to successfully organise this international event. He added that the visit was very relevant particularly for the Parliamentarians, who work day in and day out to ensure implementation of constitution. He said Azerbaijan always cherished relations with Pakistan and shared that Pakistan was among the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan, which is a testament to our deep rooted relations.
