Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan Releases Currency Rates for October 16 and 17

Karachi, 17 Oct 2023:The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) has officially released the buying and selling rates for major currencies for the dates of October 16 and 17, 2023.

For both days, the buying and selling rates for the US Dollar (USD) were recorded at 274.00 and 277.00 respectively. The Euro (EURO) experienced a slight drop in its buying rate from 292.00 on October 16 to 291.00 on October 17, while the selling rate decreased from 295.00 to 294.00 over the same period.

The British Pound (GBP) saw a decrease in its buying rate from 338.50 on October 16 to 338.00 on October 17. Its selling rate also experienced a dip from 342.00 to 341.00 between the two dates.

The Japanese Yen (JPY) maintained stable rates with its buying and selling prices at 1.80 and 1.85 respectively for both days.

The buying and selling rates for the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) remained unchanged at 76.00 and 76.75 for the specified dates. Similarly, the Saudi Riyal (SR) held steady with rates of 73.30 for buying and 74.00 for selling on both October 16 and 17.

For the interbank rates, there was a slight increase from 276.85 for buying on October 16 to 277.00 on October 17. The selling rate observed a small increment from 277.05 on October 16 to 277.20 on the following day.
