Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan Releases Currency Rates for October 16

Karachi, 16 Oct 2023: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) has announced the latest foreign exchange rates for October 16, 2023. The rates have seen minor fluctuations compared to those from October 13.

For the US Dollar (USD), both the buying and selling rates remained unchanged at 274.00 and 277.00, respectively. The Euro (EUR) experienced a decrease in both buying and selling rates, moving from 293.00 to 292.00, and from 296.00 to 295.00, respectively.

The British Pound Sterling (GBP) also saw a dip in its buying rate, dropping from 340.50 to 338.50, with the selling rate adjusting from 344.00 to 342.00. The Japanese Yen (JPY) maintained its rates at 1.80 for buying and 1.85 for selling.

The rates for the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) remained stable at 76.00 for buying and 76.75 for selling. The Saudi Riyal (SR) observed a slight decline in both buying, from 73.50 to 73.30, and selling, from 74.20 to 74.00.

In the interbank market, the rates shifted from 277.60 to 276.85 for buying and from 277.80 to 277.05 for selling.
