Karachi: Faysal Bank Limited has announced that its Board of Directors will convene on August 28, 2024, to discuss the unconsolidated and consolidated financial statements for the second quarter ending June 30, 2024. The meeting will include a review of the Directors’ and Auditors’ reports and address other agenda items.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the bank has instituted a closed period from August 20, 2024, to August 28, 2024. During this time, directors, the Chief Executive Officer, and executives are prohibited from dealing in the bank’s shares, adhering to clause 5.6.4 of the Rule Book of the Exchange.
This procedural meeting and the subsequent closed period are routine corporate governance practices intended to prevent insider trading and maintain transparency during the sensitive period of financial review.
