Federal Minister Amir Muqam Hosts UNHCR Commissioner Filippo Grandi in Peshawar

Peshawar, Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions and Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan, Engr Amir Muqam, hosted a high-level delegation from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), led by Commissioner Filippo Grandi, at his residence in Peshawar.

According to Press Information Department, the visit included a warm reception for Commissioner Grandi, during which Minister Muqam presented him with a flower bouquet and traditional ‘Chadars’ as gifts. The meeting between the federal minister and the UNHCR delegation focused on issues related to refugees. Following the discussions, Minister Muqam also held a luncheon reception in honor of Commissioner Grandi.
