AJK Prime Minister Orders High Alert for Monsoon Season

Islamabad: Chaudhry Anwar Haq, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, has issued directives for all relevant departments to maintain high alert during the current monsoon season.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a meeting held in Islamabad, Prime Minister Haq instructed the Chief Secretary to immediately release emergency funds to the State Disaster Management Authority, the Police, and the Public Works departments. He emphasized the importance of keeping the urban sewage systems operational and ensuring that staff are actively managing the challenges posed by the monsoon rains.
