Finance Minister Aurangzeb Claims Economic Stability Due to Government Policies

Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has asserted that the government’s careful policies and actions have steered the country towards macroeconomic stability. Speaking at a seminar in Lahore, organized by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, he highlighted the growth in foreign investment and stressed the equal importance of domestic investors.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Aurangzeb also outlined the government’s plan to boost the tax-to-GDP ratio to thirteen percent within the next three years. Furthermore, Minister of State for Finance Ali Pervaiz Malik, who also spoke at the seminar, revealed the identification of 4.5 million new taxpayers and noted a 40 percent increase in revenue collection. These measures are part of a broader effort by the government to solidify the country’s economic foundation and promote sustainable growth.
