Finance Minister Discusses Investment Climate with MIGA Executive in Washington

Washington DC, Pakistan’s Finance Minister, Mr. Muhammad Aurangzeb, engaged in pivotal discussions with Mr. Hiroshi Matano, Executive Vice President of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), focusing on enhancing foreign investment and reinforcing investor confidence in Pakistan.

According to Press Information Department, during the meeting, Minister Aurangzeb expressed gratitude for MIGA’s ongoing support in attracting foreign investment to Pakistan. He detailed the country’s current economic reforms and measures being implemented to improve the investment climate.

Additionally, the Finance Minister briefed the MIGA Executive Vice President about specific efforts underway to address challenges faced by a Korean investment company operating in Pakistan. These discussions are part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to foster a more favorable environment for international investors and to resolve potential impediments to foreign investment.
