Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb today emphasized the critical role of the Pak Matiari-Lahore Transmission Company (PMLTC) in enhancing Pakistan’s infrastructure, particularly within the power sector. The discussion occurred during a meeting with PMLTC’s President and CEO Zhang Lei, alongside her deputies, focusing on the progress of significant projects and future opportunities in renewable energy.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Finance Minister praised PMLTC’s efforts in the ongoing Matiari-Lahore HVDC project and discussed broader impacts, including potential ventures into hybrid renewable energy and hydrogen production.
