First Habib Modaraba Resumes Trading on Pakistan Stock Exchange

Karachi, First Habib Modaraba has announced the resumption of trading of its certificates on the Pakistan Stock Exchange effective May 6, 2024. This follows the closure of their books and subsequent suspension of trading as per the Pakistan Stock Exchange notification number PSX/N366. The suspension was initially communicated in a letter dated April 17, 2024.

The resumption comes after the consolidation of the face value of the certificates to twice the closing price on the last day of trading, which was April 24, 2024. The revised certificates have now been credited by the Central Depository Company in the Central Depository System, after final entitlements were determined.

This information will be published in the “Business Recorder” and “Nawa-i-Waqt” newspapers, covering Karachi Lahore and Islamabad to ensure all certificate holders are adequately informed.
