Funeral for Seven Martyred Security Personnel Held in Bannu

Islamabad, A funeral prayer for seven security personnel, including Captain Faraz Ilyas, who were killed by an improvised explosive device in Lakki Marwat, was held in Bannu. The ceremony saw high-ranking military officials, fellow soldiers, and a large turnout of local residents paying their respects.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the funeral was attended by the Corps Commander of Peshawar along with other military officers and personnel. After the prayer, the bodies of the martyred were transported to their hometowns where they were buried with full military honors. The ISPR reiterated the military’s commitment to combating terrorism and underscored that these sacrifices strengthen their resolve.
