Sialkot, GOC (Pak) Limited has announced that its 60th Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled to take place at the company’s Registered Office in Sialkot on October 14, 2023. The meeting will address several crucial matters as outlined in the official notice released by the company.

The agenda for the AGM includes both ordinary and special business items:

Ordinary Business:

1. Confirmation of Minutes: The meeting will commence with the confirmation of the minutes from the previous AGM.

2. Financial Statements: Shareholders will receive, consider, and adopt the Audited Financial Statements of the Company for the year ended on June 30, 2023, accompanied by the Chairman’s Review, Directors’ Report, and Auditors’ Report.

3. Dividend Approval: The board’s recommendation to pay a final cash dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share (25.00%) for the year ended on June 30, 2023, will be put to vote.

4. Appointment of Auditors: Shareholders will be asked to appoint statutory auditors and determine their remuneration for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2024.

5. Director Elections: Eight (8) Directors will be elected in accordance with Section 159 of the Companies Act, 2017. These Directors will serve a three-year term beginning on October 14, 2023.

Additionally, the company has announced a book closure period. The share transfer books of GOC (Pak) Limited will remain closed from October 7, 2023, to October 14, 2023, inclusive. This closure period is relevant for shareholders looking to make any changes to their shareholding during this time.
