Government Focuses on Modernizing Railway Infrastructure: Hanif

Islamabad: Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has announced the government’s commitment to modernizing the railway infrastructure and aligning it with international standards. He emphasized the importance of this initiative during a discussion with a private news channel, highlighting the government’s dedication to improving transportation systems across the nation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Hanif Abbasi stated that the government is not only focusing on infrastructure upgrades but also on enhancing governance and introducing contemporary systems within Pakistan Railways. A significant part of this modernization effort is the prioritization of major infrastructure development, particularly the ML-1 Railway corridor, which is expected to play a crucial role in the country’s transportation network improvements.
