Islamabad: The Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, announced the government’s comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing the lives of citizens through technological advancements. Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad marking the completion of Pakistan’s ten-year digital roadmap, Khawaja emphasized the transformative impact of technology on everyday life.
Addressing attendees, the minister highlighted the ‘Digital Nation Pakistan’ initiative, which she described as a revolutionary step by the government. Khawaja pointed out that the focus areas of the strategy include E-governance, Artificial Intelligence, and data security. She further noted that a cashless economy is a fundamental aspect of the digital economy envisioned by the government.
