Governor of Sindh Expresses Condolences at Iranian Consulate in Karachi

Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori visited the Iranian Consulate to express condolences over the death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, who recently died in a helicopter accident. The Governor emphasized the significant contributions of President Raisi to the Muslim community and shared personal reflections on their interactions.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori was received by Iranian Consul General Hasan Nooryan. During his visit, Governor Tesori read the Fatiha in memory of President Raisi and signed the consulate’s guest book, sharing his thoughts on the late President’s visit to Karachi and his impact on international relations.

He remarked on the profound shock shared by both Tehran and Pakistan over the loss. The Governor also highlighted personal moments shared with President Raisi, including the honor of awarding him an honorary degree. The Consul General thanked Governor Tesori for his sympathy and reflected on the need to advance Iran-Pakistan relations.
