Govt. fetches PkR 61 bn throughh T-Bills – Alfalah Securities Limited

Karachi, June 14, 2012 (PPI-OT): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has sold treasury bills (T-bills) of worth PkR 61.1495 bn in the auction held yesterday against total bids of worth PkR 65.65 bn.

According to Alfalah Securities Limited, the SBP accepted PkR 34.767 bn, PkR 12.3815 bn and PkR 14.001 bn in 3M, 6M and 12M T-bills respectively. The cut-off yields in the 3M and 6M maturities witnessed a nominal increase of 4.5 bps to 11.9201% against 11.8742% while the cut-off yield of 6M and 12M t-bills remained unchanged at 11.9420% and 11.9522% respectively.
