Govt making progress to complete 9th review with IMF: Dar

Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar says all necessary steps have been taken to achieve high growth in every sector of the country.

Talking to a private television channel, he said austerity measures have been taken to minimize expenditure and run the affairs of civil service in a befitting manner.

The Finance Minister said the government is making progress in completing the 9th review program with International Monetary Fund.

Commenting on imports of Russian oil, he said Bulk Storage Facility Policy would be announced soon by Minister of State for Petroleum Musadiq Malik and the nation would have good news in this regard.
