Gwadar Deputy Commissioner Commits to Cultural and Educational Development

Gwadar: During a visit to the Press Club Gwadar, Deputy Commissioner Hamudur Rahman emphasized the critical role of journalism in society and outlined plans for enhancing local educational and cultural facilities.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Rahman discussed initiatives aimed at promoting art, literacy, and a reading culture across the district, including the establishment of libraries in all four tehsils and organizing an Art and Literacy Mela in December. He highlighted the upcoming conversion of the old telegraph center into a women’s library that will also feature a gym, underscoring the district administration’s commitment to providing resources and opportunities for local talent and addressing community issues.
