Hot and Dry Conditions Prevail Across Balochistan with Potential Thunderstorms in the North

Quetta, The Meteorological Center of Balochistan forecasts continued hot and dry weather for most parts of the province with potential thunderstorms accompanied by dusty winds in the northern districts on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Similar conditions are expected to persist into Wednesday.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the region has experienced extremely hot and dry conditions over the past 24 hours. The highest temperatures recorded include Sabi at 47 degrees Celsius, Nokundi at 45.5, Dalbandin at 43.5, Panjgur and Turbat at 41.5, Barkhan at 40.5, and Quetta at 36.5 degrees Celsius. Residents in the northern districts should be prepared for possible thunderstorms, which may bring temporary relief from the heat but could also include gusty winds.
