Hungarian Deputy State Secretary for Security Policy Szabolcs Takacs calls on Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhary

Islamabad, February 13, 2014 (PPI-OT): Mr. Szabolcs Takacs, Hungarian Deputy State Secretary for Security Policy and Hungary’s Special Envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan called on the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhary, at the Foreign Office.

Mr. Takacs reiterated the desire of his government to enhance its relations with Pakistan. He offered 80 fully funded scholarships for students from Pakistan in various Hungarian universities. The Foreign Secretary reciprocated the Hungarian desire to expand bilateral relations and offered courses for Hungarian diplomats at the Foreign Service Academy.

Earlier, the Deputy State Secretary of Hungary held consultations with Additional Secretary (Europe) on bilateral relations, global and regional issues.
