Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Conduct Day-Long Visit to Muzaffarabad, AJK

Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to arrive in Muzaffarabad today for a day-long visit to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). The visit includes a series of important meetings and briefings focusing on regional development and political dialogue.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif’s itinerary features a meeting with AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq to discuss collaborative initiatives and regional issues. Additionally, Prime Minister Sharif will address the AJK cabinet, underscoring the federal government’s commitment to supporting the administrative and developmental agenda of AJK.

The Prime Minister will also meet with Hurriyat leaders from Jammu and Kashmir, an engagement that highlights the ongoing dialogue concerning the political and security situation in the region. Furthermore, he will visit the Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Project, where he will be briefed on the progress and impact of this significant energy initiative.
